The single most important factor for the success of your exercise program is adherence. Exercise is medicine; it only works when you take it. We respect and admire the commitment you make to your health.

I we invite anyone who is interested in starting a fitness program to come into Transition for a short visit to see our facility and meet our staff. We have put together a great team of personal trainers, physical therapists, Pilates instructors, yoga instructors and massage therapists.
After meeting us, decide if we are the right fit for your fitness needs. If we are, fill out a confidential health and exercise history form and schedule your initial consultation with a trainer. Your trainer will sit down with you and find ouy what your goals and objectives are and put a game plan together to get you from point A to B.
Next we suggest you participate in a fitness assessment in order to find your fitness level baseline. This assessment will consist of finding your weight, resting heart rate, percent body fat, cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility. These measurements are all submaximal and are certainly not "pass/fail". Simply do the best you can so we can collect some black and white data to retest 6 months or a year from now in order to track your progress.
You and your trainer will then schedule your sessions for the rest of the month based on your goals, time schedule, budget, etc. You will love the way you look and feel by making this commitment to your health.
